Benjamin’s mother likes to have photographs done every month of the first year of Baby’s life.
Since she’s the boss, I listen and photograph when told!!
We got some smiles out of the little guy, you can call it gas if you want, but I’m positive that he was laughing at my jokes.
And then out of nowhere he’s like “Dude, it would totally rock if I climbed up on to the piano bench and sat there for an image” when we picked our jaws up off the floor we were like “Totally dude, go for it!”
Okay, okay there was a little bit of photoshop involved.
This morning at 5:36 am, my world was rocked and turned upside down, for the third time. It never ceases to amaze me that I am capable of such a wide range of feelings and emotions that the birth of a child can produce. To look into the eyes of another human being, knowing that he is a perfect combination of you and your lifelong partner in life and that He has been cared for and formed by God for the last fourty weeks all in preparation for this very day that you will meet. I can truly respond no other way than to declare that God is in face good!
Benjamin Marcus McIntyre was born today, and here is a bit of a summary of his first day in pictures. I am at home nowtaking care of Benjamin’s sister and brother as they fight a flu bug while Mom rests with Benjamin at the hospital.
