Sometimes circumstaces come about that cause things to happen that you could never have foreseen. This was the case this Christmas. Up until now I’ve had my eye on a Canon 50D but have also realized that it was going to be a while before I could go out to get one. Enter Boxing Day at Henry’s, a great deal on a Nikon D90, a buyer for all of my existing Canon gear, a bit of spec comparison, a whole lot of usable ISO, throw in a 50m f1.4 and an 18-200mm f 3.5-6.3 and voila, I’m a Nikon user!
I went out and got it, charged that battery, called my buddy from Defining Design who shoots with his wife’s Nikon D300 and we hit the streets of Toronto:
I really can’t wait until I actually understand how to use it!
