Sherien is a repeat client that you may recognize from the film Colour Me.  Some exciting news about the film, the Bell TIFF Lighbox has picked it up and will promote it as a part of Black History Month!

Sheldon and Sherien were really fun to hang out with and shoot for the afternoon, here is a series from our time together.

Fubar II and iloverewards TIFF Red Carpet Party. (Celebrity Correction)

CORRECTION ***My friend Laura from Wyatt’s Warriors contacted me and suggested I have a closer look at my images of Heather Graham.  Turns out I’m not all that connected to pop culture, yet I am able to correctly identify many of my daughter’s treehouse TV friends.

It also turns out that Rachel Blanchard looks a lot like Heather Graham.  Rachel, Heather, If you are reading I hope that my confusion in this matter has not in anyway offended you.

On Friday night I was hired to photograph a red carpet party for a company called iloverewards and it turns out that they were sharing a venue with the After party for Fubar 2.  Yes I said Fubar 2, and yes I said TIFF. The party was held at Kultura restaurant.  I’m not sure that it was the official after party as it wasn’t all that packed, but I also think the guys just kept it low key so they could not be in character and just kick back.  The iloverewards people were in town for a conference and decided that they wanted to wrap it up with a red carpet party so they hired me and a couple of other photographers to be there and give them some attention.  The night was not filled with all kinds of celebrities but there were a bunch of people having a really good time, and enjoying the pseudo spotlight.  Rachel Blanchard (Who I thought was Heather Graham) stopped by to say hi, she literally came by went inside for a about 15 minutes and then took off.  I suspect she knows the Fubar guys and just stopped in to say ‘whaddup’.  All in all I had a great time and we even had a couple of surprise guest appearances.
